EXCELLENT VALUE
With 158mm PCB size, this video card is optimal for smaller system chassis, making it ideal for users who do not want to replace their case and convenient for HTPC users and boosting up the performance by up to 46% compared to previous generation GeForce graphics card*. The GeForce GTX 650 supports PCI Express 3.0 bus architecture offering the highest data transfer speed, DirectX 11 with Shader 5.0 support, Nvidia Adaptive vertical sync, a smarter way to render frames eliminating tearing, at low frame rates getting rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming. All these features backed by Nvidia Kepler GPU architecture, designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance but optimal for performance per watt. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card. (*) The Club 3D GeForce GTX 650 is 46% faster than the GeForce GTX 550Ti reference board and only 13% slower than the standard GeForce GTX 560 but at a 35% lower price, offering great value. GREAT PERFORMANCE
3DMARK 11 3DMark 11 is the latest version of the world's most popular benchmark. Designed to measure your PC's gaming performance 3DMark 11 makes extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11 including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading. Trusted by gamers worldwide to give accurate and unbiased results, 3DMark 11 is the best way to consistently and reliably test DirectX 11 under game-like loads.
3DMark Vantage is the industry standard performance benchmark for DirectX 10 gaming PCs. It includes two graphics tests, two CPU tests and six feature tests. Trusted by gamers worldwide to give accurate and unbiased results, 3DMark Vantage is the best way to consistently and reliably test DirectX 10 under game-like loads. Tested on the following hardware configuration: CPU: AMD PhenomII X4 955 (3.2GHz) FEATURES KEPLER ARCHITECTURE NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card. Compared to the original Fermi-SM, SMX has twice the performance per Watt. Put another way, given a Watt of power, Kepler's SMX can do twice the amount of work as Fermi's SM. And this is measured apples-to-apples, on the same manufacturing process. Imagine a conventional 50 Watt light bulb that shines as brightly as a 100 Watt light bulb—that's what Kepler's like when gaming.
Used by the most demanding gamers worldwide, SLI lets you link up to two GeForce GTX 650's together for astounding performance. And with NVIDIA’s track record for fast and frequent software updates, you’ll not only get the best performance in existing games, but future games too. SLI intelligently scales graphics performance by combining multiple GeForce GPUs on a SLI certified motherboard. With over 1,000 supported applications and used by over 94% of multi-GPU PCs on Steam, SLI is the technology of choice for gamers who demand the very best. Beyond just better performance, SLI offers a host of advanced features. For PhysX games, SLI can assign the second GPU for physics computation, enabling stunning effects such as life-like fluids, particles, and destruction. For CUDA applications, a second GPU can be used for compute purposes such as Folding@home or video transcoding. Finally, for the ultimate in image quality, SLI Anti-aliasing offers up to 64xAA with two GPUs.
NVIDIA PhysX technology helps games play better and feel better by making interaction with environments and characters far more realistic than ever before. By making behavior more realistic, the graphics look and “feel” better. Tech demo's for NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 600 Series GPU showing real time physics.
Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
NEW ANTI-ALIASING MODES: FXAA AND TXAA The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
Dust can collect inside unused video outputs and Electro-Static-Discharge (ESD) by touching the PCB with bare hands while not grounding yourself can be harmful to a graphic card. To protect against dust and ESD Club 3D provides protective caps on the video outputs, SLI connector(s) and PCB goldfinger of the graphic card and can prolong the lifespan of your graphic card by up to 65%.
