01-Aug-12 // 4 stars out of 5 on the Club 3D Radeon HD 7750 royalQueen
Ocaholic gives 4 stars out of 5 on the Club 3D Radeon HD 7750 royalQueen
Here is what they have to say
It is reasonable to compare this card to the Radeon HD 6770 and the NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti. All three models cost about the same and therefore it is really interesting to see whether there are differences or not and how the HD 7750 Royal Queen from Club3D does. Overall the 7750 is a little bit faster than the HD 6770 but slower than the GTX 550 Ti. The best feature you get with this card is the passive cooler. This make the card very suitable for a low noise HTPC build for example. Furthermore you'll see why Club3D decided to equip exactly this card with a passive cooler, when you look at power consumption.
Basically the performance is sufficient to play games at FullHD resolution but with low details and no anti aliasing. If you do want to play with low anti aliasing settings, then you need to change the resolution to 1680 x 1050 pixels. As we've already said it is really interesting to have a closer look at this cards power consumption. Compared to all the other cards we've tested so far, we see that the Club3D HD 7750 Royal Queen ranks second for load power consumption and third for idle power consumption. So it's quite understandable why Club3D chose this chip for a passive cooled card.
The Club3D HD 7750 Royal Queen is perfectly suitable for a low noise HTPC or desktop PC. In both cases you can use you PC also for playing not so graphic intense titels like for example StarCraft II.
The Club3D HD 7750 Royal Queen gets good four out of five stars.
