What This Product Does
The CSV‑2553 is a compact USB‑C® hub designed to expand a single USB‑C® or Thunderbolt™ port into essential connectivity for display output, USB peripherals, wired networking, memory card access, and host charging.
It supports DisplayPort™ 1.4 Alternate Mode and provides:
- HDMI™ video output up to 4K@60Hz
- USB‑A data ports
- Gigabit Ethernet
- SD and MicroSD card readers
- USB‑C® Power Delivery pass‑through
Important Display Capability Notice
The CSV‑2553 supports DisplayPort™ 1.4 Alternate Mode for video output.
This capability is provided by the hub hardware and is backward compatible with earlier DisplayPort™ Alternate Mode versions.
However, actual output resolution, refresh rate, and color format are limited by the host system, including:
- USB‑C® DisplayPort™ version supported
- Graphics controller (GPU)
- Operating system
If the host supports DP 1.4, HDMI™ output up to 4K@60Hz is available.
If the host supports only DP 1.2, output will be limited to 4K@30Hz.
These limits reflect the host system capability, not a limitation of the hub.
Important Compatibility Notice
- Video output requires a USB‑C® port that supports DisplayPort™ Alternate Mode
- Display behavior depends on host system and operating system
- Extended or mirrored display modes depend on OS support
- The hub does not convert, scale, or enhance video signals
