Thunderbolt™ 5 Bandwidth and Display Capability

The CSV‑2562 is based on Thunderbolt™ 5 technology, providing:

  • 80 Gbps bi‑directional bandwidth
  • Up to 120 Gbps Bandwidth Boost for display‑heavy workloads

Supported Display Configurations (system‑dependent)

  • Single display: up to 8K@60Hz
  • Dual display: up to 2 × 8K@60Hz
  • Triple display: up to 3 × 4K@144Hz

Display Stream Compression (DSC) must be supported by the host, GPU, and displays to achieve maximum resolutions.
Without DSC, maximum output may be limited (for example 4K@120Hz 4:2:2).

These limits reflect host system capability, not dock capability.

External M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure 

The CSV‑2562 includes a built‑in M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure, providing a powerful external storage upgrade path.

This is especially well suited for Apple systems, where internal SSD upgrades are limited or unavailable.

  1. Slide open the bottom access panel
  2. Insert a supported NVMe SSD
  3. Secure it with the internal locking mechanism
  4. Close the panel and power on the dock

The SSD appears as an external drive on the host system.
