HDMI™ 2.0
The Bandwidth for HDMI™ 2.0 was increased to 6 Gbps. per lane bringing the total bandwidth of the 3 integrated lanes 18 Gbps. HDMI™ 2.0 is also referred to as HDMI UHD, meaning it supports Ultra High Resolutions of up to 3840x2160p at 60Hz. HDMI™ 2.0 is downwards compatible to earlier versions however that will influence the max supported resolutions.
